Cardamom is a spice that is slightly sweet and is used in both savoury dishes as well as desserts.
From curries to lassi and ladoo, you’ll find at least a pinch of cardamom in most Indian recipes.

Now, cardamom does not just give dishes and desserts its unique and much-loved flavours.
There are lots of health benefits that you can enjoy from consuming cardamom and the best part is, they come in various forms including whole seeds, powder and oil.
There are so many ways to enjoy cardamom and here are some good reasons why you should!

#5 In a study on rats that was conducted in Indonesia and published in 2014, cardamom, together with turmeric and sembung leaves were found to be helpful in reducing stomach ulcers.
