How about heading out in suede shoes but suddenly stepping in a puddle, ruining those shoes? This calls for an emergency kit that will keep you looking fabulous, fresh and most importantly, feeling good.
- If you’re going to an event that requires standing for long hours and you plan on wearing heels, pack a pair of flats to change into when the balls of your feet have given up. Flats will look smart and if you’re taking public transport, they’ll make it easier on your feet especially when walking up and down the stairs.
- Suede is a beautiful material but once it gets wet, it is more or less ruined. Spray your new suede shoes with a waterproofing spray to keep them beautiful and most importantly, your feet dry! This spray can be used on other materials such as canvas and hats as well.
- Have a little ‘style emergency’ bag in your daily handbag or backpack with essentials such as a tube of lipstick, an atomiser with your favourite perfume, and small accessories of your choice such as a favourite ring or earrings to jazz up your outfit for those last minute events or get-togethers.
