In conjunction with our 8th Anniversary, 1Twenty80 is organising Health Day! 😃 Here are the important details you’ll want to remember:
When?
Health Day is happening on Sunday, 17 November 2024.
Where?
Join us at PARC, a scenic location by the lake in Subang Jaya, Selangor!
What time?
We’ve planned a day of fun activities just for you and your family! Here’s how the day will go:
- 8 am to 9.15 am (Yoga with Atilia Haron & Pound with Hanis, pre-registration is required)
- 9.30 am onwards would be the rest of the activities & FREE for the public 😊
(Pssst… Participants who sign up will also be receiving a goodie bag worth over RM 100 and free refreshments!)

What is Pound exercise?

The ‘Pound exercise’ is a type of workout that combines cardio, strength training, and rhythm. It was developed by two drummers, Kirsten Potenza and Cristina Peerenboom.
In a typical Pound workout, participants use weighted drumsticks, called Ripstix®, to drum along to a rhythm while performing various exercises. The workout incorporates movements like squats, lunges, and other bodyweight exercises, but with the added element of drumming to the beat of the music. The idea is to get a full-body workout while also engaging in an energetic and fun activity that mimics the action of drumming.
