Buying baby clothes can be overwhelming and sometimes considered as a frustrating task. You’ll need to estimate the right amount of varieties, ensure that the clothing pieces that you purchase will be comfortable and of course, be made out of breathable fabric that will reduce the chances of skin irritation.
In addition to that, you’ll need to do a whole lot of planning on the clothing size as babies outgrow clothes quickly. Fortunately though, with some helpful information, you’ll be saving yourself some time while avoiding burning a hole in your pocket.
With that being said, we’ve got some handy tips for you!
#1 THE RIGHT FABRIC
Having a baby doesn’t mean you’ll need to buy expensive cute clothes to complement their cuteness. What’s more important is for you to choose fabric that wouldn’t give baby skin irritation. Also, choose clothing with low-fire hazard made from silky smooth or natural fabrics that are sustainable, plus gentle to the skin.
#2 CHOOSE CLOTHES THAT ARE EASY TO CHANGE
As parents, convenience is key and this applies to your baby’s clothes too. Choose clothes that are easy to put on and vice-versa. For example, choose outfits with velcro (two strips that adhere when pressed together) and zippers instead of buttons and are easily accessible to change diapers.
#3 SIZING IS IMPORTANT
Bought adorable onesies for babies but only to realise they’re too small? Shop according to your baby’s weight instead of his or her age.
